Meet Our Staff

With nearly four decades of experience working on over a quarter million pets, we offer compassionate and affordable care for our four-pawed friends. We currently provide quality pet care for over 40 communities.

 Dr. Sarah Lothrop Post
 

Dr. Sarah Lothrop Post was born and raised in Crete, Nebraska. She graduated from University of Nebraska-Lincoln with her Bachelor of Veterinary Sciences in 2013. She then attended veterinary school at Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine, and graduated with her DVM in 2017. She also received her Master of Public Health from the University of Iowa in 2017.

You may recognize Dr. Sarah, she enjoyed working at Lothrop Animal Clinic with Dr. Lothrop (her father) growing up.

In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family, as well as many outdoor activities.

 

 

 

Dr. Eric Post

Dr. Eric Post grew up in Syracuse, Nebraska. He earned his Bachelors in Animal Science from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2012. He continued his education at Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine, and graduated with his DVM in 2016.

He enjoys being outdoors, hunting, fishing, and spending time with his wife (Dr. Sarah) and kids, and their golden retriever, Chevy.

 

 

 

Dr. Gary Lothrop

 

Dr. Gary F. Lothrop was born and raised in Crete, Nebraska. He graduated from Crete High School in 1976, then earned a Bachelors degree in Animal Science at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. He continued his education at Iowa State University's College of Veterinary Medicine, where he earned his Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine. He founded Lothrop Animal Clinic in 1984 and has been serving Crete and the surrounding communities ever since.

 

Outside of work, Dr. Lothrop is a loyal Husker football fan, enjoys playing racquetball and spending time with his family.
